Hello and welcome to our blog: Here We Go Again!
You mind have heard of our EVS project or maybe you are just visiting here for the blog. Either way, I hope you’ll enjoy reading stories created by volunteers from Finland, Ireland, Slovenia and Sweden. There will also be blog posts written by our mentors and supervisors. And that’s not all you’re going to get! Just keep following our blog and have this wonderful journey together with us. You’ll never know what you’ll learn and see!
You might think who am I and why I’m writing this introduction. I’m no one important nor even interesting. I’m just a person helping everyone to get the job done. There are wonderful people who have lots of to say and show to you and I’m teaching them how to do that. I’m there for them when they need support with blogging and I’ll try my best to answer everyone’s questions. You probably don’t see me much here in the blog in person but I’m always there… lurking… behind everyone’s back.
Soon we will introduce our mentors and supervisors. We will post pictures of our workshops and the city of Lahti. If you’re coming to Finland as a volunteer, we hope those blog posts will make it easier for you. Maybe you’ll also be writing here about your unique experiences what it is like being as a volunteer in Finland.
We also have our own volunteers. First of them are leaving to Ireland in the end of June. They are writing in this blog too and telling you how’s Ireland from their point of view. Because I’m stuck in the office, I’m really curious what they are going to tell us about Ireland. You are too, aren’t you?
So, join us and travel with us through unique stories and experiences!
